그러나 너희는 그렇게 해선 안 된다. 오히려 누구든지 너희 중에서 큰 사람이 되고 싶은 사람은 너희를 섬기는 자가 돼야 하고 누구든지 으뜸이 되려는 사람은 모든 사람의 종이 돼야 한다. 인자 역시 섬김을 받으러 온 것이 아니라 섬기러 왔고 많은 사람들을 구원하기 위해 치를 몸값으로 자기 생명을 내어 주려고 온 것이다.
